Next Generation Cloud Video Surveillance System

Objective

SEO Strategy and Campaign Management

ClickJump was appointed by Cloudview to drive new business from search engines and increase awareness of the brand.

The business goal was to establish Cloudview as the market leader for the cloud storage of video surveillance data, providing instant easy access via any device 24/7, with single screen control and smart bespoke configuration.

Our objective for SEO was to improve search rankings, raise awareness of the Cloudview brand offering and trigger fresh customer enquiries for existing site audits and systems review.

Solution

Our strategy was two-fold:

On-site: Optimise the website to ensure it is crawled and indexed by search engines more accurately, which included a website audit, extensive content creation and optimisation, technical analysis and recommendations, and an internal linking plan.

Off-site: Improve Cloudview’s backlink profile and domain authority to increase the visibility of the business on search engines, drive more organic traffic to the website and boost lead generation.

To achieve this, we focused on targeting Cloudview key audiences on search, which are:

Housing associations, large construction sites and developers, councils with multiple locations. Property managers, facility managers, IT directors, CEOs, CFOs.

Implementation:

In the first stage, the website was fully optimised for search, which included work on the content, technical elements and links. At the same time, an in-depth keyword research was carried, so that Cloudview could decide on the search terms that are key to the business to achieve their goals. These terms were then added to the core of the SEO strategy.

In the 2nd stage, we kick started an SEO campaign based on improving the website’s backlink profile and domain authority. This involved outreaching quality content and carrying out digital PR to gain quality links, as well as position the brand as a thought leader in the sector to improve awareness amongst its targeted audiences. A part of the campaign also focused on local SEO, which involved optimising and posting on the company’s Google Business Profiles to boost local organic traffic and search visibility. The on-site blog was also an important part of the campaign with content being published consistently, which boosted the brand discovery and profile amongst new audiences and contributed to improved visibility on search engines.
